There’s pain in my lower abdomen. And I can’t move anymore. Blood pools around me and the smell is enough to overwhelm. I can’t even feel sick anymore. The smell and the pain are so great that it’s become my entire existence. I know the more I think of the pain the greater it gets so I focus on my breathing. How do I breathe again? It was Career Day. But by the time you reach high school, Career Day doesn’t excite you anymore.
